About the Opportunity

IPH is hiring Industrial Sheet Metal Workers at all levels, from high level apprentices through to Red Seal Journeypersons, for upcoming industrial work in Logan Lake, with work anticipated to begin in September 2026.

The scope of work will include a variety of industrial sheet metal installation, fabrication and maintenance activities in an industrial site environment. Work may include the fabrication and installation of industrial ductwork, ventilation systems, equipment guards, flashing and cladding, as well as other custom sheet metal components required throughout the project.

Bussing to and from site is provided via Kamloops, Merritt and Logan Lake.

What You Will Do

- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ducting, fittings, and related HVAC systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized sheet metal equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform layout, measure, cut, and weld sheet metal materials to required dimensions.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and project specifications.




- Ensure installations comply with the applicable regulations and codes.
- Collaborate with other trades on-site to complete projects on time.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair existing sheet metal and ventilation systems.
- Perform testing, balancing, and adjustments to ensure systems function efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Follow company safety protocols, including proper PPE use and hazard awareness.
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately.

About You

- Red Seal or Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker Certification or Certification of Apprenticeship
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the trade, preferably in an industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct installation, and sheet metal fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit to perform the demands of the job (lifting, bending, working at heights, etc.).

Pay: $36.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
