We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and hands-on team member to help run our small cafe located on a university campus in Milton.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys working independently, interacting with students and faculty, preparing food and drinks, and taking ownership of the day-to-day cafe operations.

Responsibilities

- Greet students/faculty and provide friendly, professional service
- Take orders and process payments using the POS system
- Prepare coffee, tea, iced drinks, and other cafe beverages
- Prepare and serve food items such as sandwiches, wraps, bowls, bagels, and baked goods
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion consistency
- Keep the cafe, kitchen, counters, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Restock ingredients,



beverages, packaging, and supplies
- Monitor inventory and inform management when stock is running low
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Handle cash and reconcile the register
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Assist with catering orders and campus events when needed
- Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and regular customers
- Help promote the cafe, suggest new ideas, and support opportunities to grow sales
- Take ownership of the cafe during scheduled shifts and handle day-to-day issues independently

Pay: $17.60 per hour
