We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Labourer to join our agile team. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support operational activities across our projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to adapt to diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Assist with order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment or storage
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with inventory control teams to update stock levels and manage storage locations
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Utilize warehouse management systems to document receipt of goods accurately
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products, packaging materials, and supplies
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse is an asset for this position.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during heavy equipment operation and material handling
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order fulfillment processes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory management
- Prior experience in logistics or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety standards
- Valid certification and experience operating Raymond Reach Forklift machine an asset
