Responsibilities

- Assist in meal preparation and food handling to support the kitchen team in delivering delicious dishes efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests
- Prepare ingredients, assemble dishes, and support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts to uphold sanitation standards
- Support food service operations by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and managing inventory levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen workflow




- Adhere to all health regulations and restaurant policies to promote a safe and positive working environment

Skills

- Proven experience in cooking, food preparation, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in accordance with local health regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and delivering great customer service
- Basic understanding of meal assembly, food presentation, and kitchen equipment operation
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is highly valued
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members during busy periods
