Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated First Aid Instructor to join our team as a Perrimed Certified qualified. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, comprehensive first aid training sessions that empower participants with life-saving skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching/co-teaching First Aid & CPR classes across the Niagara region in primary schools, secondary schools, and in both the public and corporate sectors.

Responsibilities

Ø Transport and assemble equipment

Ø Present and explain signs of heart attack and stroke

Ø Explain and demonstrate steps of CPR

o Adult CPR

o Child CPR

o Unconscious choking

o Conscious choking

Ø Participate in an AED scenario

Ø Instruct students to practice

Ø Students demonstrate as a group; observe and correct

Ø Provide card and pamphlet and review

Qualifications

Ø Perri-Med First Aid Instructor Certification

Ø Valid Driver’s License

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 20.0 per week
