Lubexx Enterprises o/a Jiffy Lube is hiring an Accounting Analyst. Based in our South Edmonton office, the successful candidate will be a key member of the accounting and production team, responsible for critical analysis and reconciliation, perform data entry and analysis with respect to manufactured inventory and accounts receivable transactions. This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with the Accounting and Management Teams to develop, review and update accounting and transactional policies and procedures, recommend changes, and implement approved changes.

· Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, coding, recording and posting accounts receivable and inventory data in Adagio.

· Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

· Prepare and review account reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

· Assist in month end close procedures.

· Process accurate and timely biweekly payroll.

· Maintain customer master files in Adagio.

· Maintain an orderly accounting filing system, including supporting source documents.

· Investigate and resolve account/invoice discrepancies; maintain a skilled working relationship with external vendors and customers.

· Participate in special projects and assignments as needed and required.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume account receivable position.




- Experience in manufacturing inventory management with a thorough understanding of inventory costing and valuation.
- Business Administration Diploma, or recognized equivalent required
- Good working knowledge of accounting principles/practices, including revenue recognition and cost of goods.
- Solid understanding of sales tax regulations, including GST, PST, HST, and exempt supply rules.
- Familiarity with EHC compliance and related reporting requirements is considered an asset.

· Flexible, team-oriented individual who contributes to continuous improvement in the accounting function.

- Experience working in a multi-company environment is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables
- Knowledge of Adagio accounting software is an asset
- Capability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in handling multiple priorities and adapting quickly to an ever-changing environment

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
