Position Overview
The Kindergarten Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging French & Italian Language Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative educator who loves working with young children and is passionate about introducing new languages through fun, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons. Classes take place once a week for one hour, for the school year (Oct-June), in our kindergarten classroom

- Teach beginner-level French and Italian to Junior and Senior Kindergarten students (ages 4–6).
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using songs, games, storytelling, and activities that make learning fun and accessible.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom setting.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure lessons align with The Kindergarten Academy’s enriched curriculum.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in both French and Italian (oral and written).
- Experience working with young children (ages 4–6).
- OCT certification or ECE qualifications considered a strong asset.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about early language education.

- Participate in Christmas concert and year end graduation

- Proficiency in both French and Italian (oral and written).
- Experience working with young children (ages 4–6).
- OCT certification or ECE qualifications considered a solid asset.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about early language education.
