Key Responsibilities

● Ensure compliance of company Health & Safety policies & procedures

● Operation of various truck combinations; Tandem, Tractor & Trailer, Super B’s, Tandem & wagon. Operation of some heavy equipment (Loaders & Rock trucks)

● Conduct & document pre-operational & post-operational checks on equipment

● Competent in the operation of company equipment according to company procedures including daily maintenance (fuel, grease & maintain fluid levels)

● Perform minor repairs to equipment & identify any defects for further maintenance

● Communicate with operations manager, supervisors,



operators & fellow crew to complete jobs in a timely manner with focus on safety

● Identify & prevent potential hazards & report information to appropriate personnel

● Attend & participate in regular Toolbox meetings and training courses as required

● Use & maintain the required safety equipment (PPE) as necessary per identified hazards

● Perform labor duties as required

Pre Employment Qualifications

● Completion of pre-employment screening done by external third party

Qualifications

● Able to work overtime as required, as well as potential 7-day work weeks

● Able to work outdoors under varying weather conditions, restricted space & heights

● Excellent time management & ability to meet production deadlines

● Able to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

● Able to work under pressure with attention to detail & promote a positive work environment

● Knowledge of safe working practices & procedures

● Willingness to adapt to other responsibilities

● Able to perform laborer activities with no physical restrictions

● Minimum 3 years Class 1 driving experience, with no at-fault accidents. This needs to be verified with a claims experience letter from previous employment.
