We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operators who are experienced in Drapery manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products efficiently and accurately.
Duties
- Set up and operate various types of sewing machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines
- Monitor machine operation to detect and resolve issues promptly, minimizing downtime
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency, making adjustments as needed
- Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet daily output targets
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical problems and improve workflow efficiency
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced and machine maintenance logs
Skills
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in manufacturing environments; sewing or textile production
- Strong understanding of sewing machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory handling and workflow coordination
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, work orders, and safety instructions
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Positive communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
Job location: Woodbridge by Hwy 7 and Hwy 27
Shift timings: 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday
