Duties

- Maintain cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment by washing, sanitizing, and organizing them efficiently.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, assembling plates, or portioning supplies under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team with basic prep
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with health regulations to keep the kitchen safe and sanitary.
- Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and cleaning products to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow all food safety protocols diligently,



including proper handling of food items and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure a clean, organized workspace that meets health department regulations at all times.

Skills

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
- Good physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.

The hourly rate plus the tip out averages to $24 plus an hour. This is hard work but a great way to get started in the hospitality industry.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 20.0 per week
