Job Summary

As a Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in coordinating daily transportation activities, managing freight shipments, and maintaining effective communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service and optimize our supply chain processes.

Duties

- Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries using transportation management systems to ensure timely service.
- Communicate clearly with drivers via multi-line phone systems, providing route instructions and updates.
- Monitor freight movement, track shipments, and update relevant data entry logs accurately.
- Utilize systems such as AS Fleet Manager , receiving, and inventory management.
- Conduct analysis of transportation data to identify efficiencies or issues within the supply chain.
- Maintain skilled phone etiquette while handling inquiries from clients, drivers, and vendors.




- Support shipping & receiving operations by ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

- Experience with transportation management systems (Fleet Manager) highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and active listening abilities.
- Proficiency in data entry, typing, and managing multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Familiarity with freight logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers.
- Knowledge of systems such as Fleet Manager is a plus.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret transportation data and optimize routes or processes.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
