Job Description: As a Deli Clerk at Red Barn Market, you will be an integral part of our deli team. Your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of deli items such as our famous sandwiches, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean deli area. If you love food, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy providing excellent customer experiences, we’d love to have you join us! Please note this is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone with daytime availability.

Responsibilities:

- Stocking and Display: Arrange and replenish deli case displays, ensuring items are well-presented, labelled, and rotated.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and package sandwiches, pizza, salads, hot food, and more.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly assistance to customers, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the deli area clean, organized, safe, and well-stocked.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, rotate products, and communicate restocking needs.
- Compliance:



Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.
- Customer Service Skills: Approachable, courteous, energetic and willing to help customers.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive work atmosphere.
- Availability: Daytime availability required.
