We are looking to hire for the Fall session, Training starts in August.

K&K; Swim School has been inspiring our swimmers since 2014. Having taught thousands of swimmers, we’ve built our curriculum from the best industry standards, and we are excited to expand our team of water-loving enthusiasts.

THE ROLE:

Join our amazing team of K&K; Instructors in inspiring, challenging, and growing our swimmers! We’re looking for both regular instructors who have their set swim schedule, and substitute instructors who are available to cover for our team with more flexible hours.

Wage Range:

From $20.00/hr- $25.00/hr

THE DETAILS:

- Be a know-it-all when it comes to the K&K; Curriculum and get creative with lesson plans to help your swimmers crush their goals
- Take on as many 4-hour shifts as you want and ensure flexibility in your schedule, or join us as a substitute instructor if you prefer to cover shifts for our team.
- Keep an eye on progress and chat often with swimmers and their families to keep them up-to-date in their K&K; journey
- Collaborate with fellow instructors
- Be ready to teach swimmers of all ages in a private/group lesson workplace

We offer lessons at three convenient locations in Grande Prairie. With pools all across the city and surrounding area, there's a great chance we have one near you!

Our current Grande Prairie locations include:

- Best Western Grande Prairie Hotel & Suites
- Holiday Inn & Suites Grande Prairie Conference Centre
- Quality Inn & Suites

We also operate in:
Saskatchewan – Saskatoon, Martensville, Warman, and Regina
Alberta – Calgary, Cochrane, Balzac, Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Stony Plain, Red Deer, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat

THE NECESSITIES:

Our instructors are not only rockstars at the tasks listed above, they are also…

- Passionate about what they do and are excited to share that with their swimmers!
- Able to swim 25m of front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke (required)
- Available for at least 2 shifts a week if part-time, specifically Sunday and Thursday
- Available for at least 3 shifts a month if subbing only
- Certified in First Aid & CPR (required)
- Preferably certifications LSI/ WSI and NL
- Ready to work independently or with others
- Flexible, reliable and ready to rock it!
- Love working with swimmers of all ages
- Previous swim instruction experience is a bonus, but not a must
