iLearn Home Child Care Agency is looking for caring, dependable individuals in Orangeville and throughout Dufferin County who are interested in becoming licensed home child care providers.

Applicants must live in Orangeville or Dufferin County and be able to provide child care from their own residence.

iLearn Home Child Care Agency is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education and participates in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program, helping families access affordable, licensed child care within their community.

Your Responsibilities

As a Home Child Care Provider, you will:

- Provide a safe, caring and welcoming home environment
- Provide age-appropriate activities and learning opportunities
- Plan indoor and outdoor activities




- Provide nutritious meals and snacks
- Follow Ministry of Education and agency policies and requirements
- Maintain required daily child care documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents and the agency
- Participate in regular agency home visits and inspections

Requirements

Applicants must:

- Live in Orangeville or Dufferin County
- Be able to provide child care from their own residence
- Enjoy working with young children
- Be dependable, responsible and able to work independently
- Be willing and able to follow Ministry of Education licensing requirements
- Be able to obtain the required Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Reference Checks
- Meet required health and immunization requirements
- Obtain Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, including infant and child CPR
- Have a home environment that can meet licensed home child care health and safety requirements

Previous child care experience is an asset; however, training and ongoing support are provided.
