Accu-Temp was founded in 1982 and began as an HVAC service company in the Waterloo Region.

Within a few short years, our company grew and was soon providing 24-hour service and installation for many customers.

Since 2002, we have been at the forefront of browser-based networked building automation systems. With over 200 sites successfully installed, our company has solid experience for custom program solutions. In 2007 we restructured to focus exclusively on building automation.

Accu-Temp continues to grow, building on our solid controls background, with systems integration, resource management, and advanced analytics services.

We are hiring an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

This position is onsite at our Kitchener location, Mondays to Fridays 9am - 5pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Build and develop a strong BAS Technician team aligned with Accu-Temp’s goals. Attract, develop, motivate and retain highly productive and engaged employees. Provide mentorship to direct reports and work to develop skills of the team. Foster a culture of trust, healthy conflict, commitment, accountability and results. Conduct performance reviews as per company standards.

· Attend job turnover meetings, understand the scope of the project, review project designs and accept or reject the project design. Once the project is accepted, submit the design to the customer for approval. Review manpower and parts needed for the project.

· Manage customer expectations by working closely with subcontractors and internal teams to manage scheduling of the job, manpower and budget.

· Work with Project Coordinator to order parts, controllers or supplies to be delivered as needed and on time.

· Supervise the BAS Technician Team in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and managing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



Must have good interpersonal skills as the incumbent is required to interact closely with other employees at many different levels in the Company on a frequent basis

· Work closely with the general contractor of the construction site. Ensure that projects are running as per schedule. Update draws based on project percentage completed to be billed to the customer.

· Upon project completion, ensure documents such as drawings are accurate and up to date. Pass along customer information to the service department.

· Continue to stay up to date with latest trends and best practices as it relates to industry laws and regulations to ensure service is compliant.

Your qualifications include:

· Verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Strong time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to interpret and read blueprint, schematic and design drawings.

· Proficiency using MS Teams, Microsoft Office

· Knowledge of the construction industry would be an asset

· Valid Drivers License
