Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Intermediate/Senior Interior Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will lead innovative interior design projects from concept to completion, transforming spaces with your keen eye for aesthetics and functionality. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver inspiring environments that meet both design excellence and practical needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a design firm that is well established in Western Canada and highly respected for it's residential and commercial design.

Duties

· Develop creative design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, furniture, fixtures, and finishes, tailored to client needs and project specifications

· Produce detailed floor plans, 3D models, construction drawings, and material specifications

· Serve as the primary contact for clients, understanding functional requirements, aesthetic preferences, and project goals

· Prepare proposals for projects based on scope and hours estimated for work to be completed

· Mentor junior designers, guide project teams, and ensure design quality and compliance with building codes, safety standards, and accessibility regulation

· Select and specify furniture, lighting, equipment, and materials, coordinating procurement and installation

· Review design work for technical accuracy, aesthetic consistency, and adherence to project requirements





· Drawings including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp

· Meet with clients/ contractors as required

· Assist principal designer as required

· Track time daily

· Take responsibility for the care, professionalism and work ethic required with each client and project

· Report to office manager in calendar and in person regarding all out of office meetings and appointments

· Able to work independently and coordinating with others

· Work in a multidisciplinary environment

· Taking active part in overall duties in the office

Skills

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong creative and artistic abilities, with a keen eye for aesthetics and functional design
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
