We provide Full Truck Load Transportation Services to and from major cities in Western Canada and Western US with our own fleet of Reefers, and Dry Vans. The Business Improvement Specialist drives cross-functional business improvement initiatives from idea to execution and measurable results.

Working closely with Business Excellence, Analytics and department leaders, the role identifies improvement opportunities, coordinates solutions, drives implementation and ensures agreed actions are completed.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Improvement & Execution

- Drive assigned cross-functional improvement projects from planning through implementation and closure.
- Turn business priorities into clear actions, owners, timelines and deliverables.
- Work hands-on with teams to implement solutions and improvements.
- Track commitments, resolve roadblocks and maintain momentum through completion.
- Ensure implemented improvements are embedded into day-to-day operations.

Process & Performance Improvement

- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.




- Map and redesign workflows with Business Excellence and functional teams.
- Support process standardization, automation and productivity improvements.
- Develop practical SOPs, workflows, trackers and implementation tools.
- Partner with Analytics to use business data and KPIs to identify and measure improvement opportunities.

Project Coordination

- Maintain project plans, milestones, action trackers and deadlines.
- Coordinate activities and dependencies across departments.
- Follow through with stakeholders to ensure commitments are delivered.
- Identify and escalate execution risks or delays where required.
- Provide concise progress updates, results and actions requiring leadership attention.

Cross-Functional Support

- Work across departments to support priority business initiatives.
- Facilitate working sessions and coordinate stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
- Support teams in implementing new processes, systems and ways of working.
- Measure results and recommend further improvements where required.

Qualifications & Experience

- Degree or diploma in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business improvement,



project execution, operations or continuous improvement.
- Strong project coordination, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with dashboards and reporting tools is an asset.
- Experience with process improvement, workflow design and implementation.
- Transportation, logistics or another operational workplace is preferred.
- Lean, Six Sigma or project management exposure is a good to have asset.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
