Our client is seeking a Technical Sales & Applications Manager to lead the inside sales and applications function for a growing industrial manufacturer. This role combines team leadership, customer engagement, quotation management, costing, and technical problem-solving, serving as the key link between customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and develop a technical inside sales and applications team
- Manage the quotation, estimating, and proposal process
- Review customer requirements and recommend technical solutions
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing on custom projects




- Support costing activities and maintain profitability targets
- Build relationships with customers, distributors, and industry partners
- Monitor sales opportunities and ensure timely customer follow-up
- Drive continuous improvement of sales and application processes

Requirements:

- Demonstrate experience leading inside sales, applications, or customer service teams
- Possess a Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, CET, or related technical background
- Bring experience working within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Show a strong understanding of quotations, estimating, and costing processes
- Communicate effectively with customers, engineering teams, and operations personnel
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Utilize ERP and CRM systems to manage opportunities and customer activity
- Exhibit leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop others
