Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery using schematics, hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and system inspections to ensure vehicle longevity and safety.
- Repair and service heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot wiring issues, sensor problems, and electronic control modules across various machines.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during maintenance or repair tasks while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and industrial equipment handling.
- Use welding skills for structural repairs or component fabrication when necessary.
- Read technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or in heavy equipment maintenance within a dealership or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy machinery operation, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery during maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately using technical manuals or schematics.
- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
- Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence), forklift certification, or specialized trade licenses are a plus.
