Responsibilities
- Safely operate large commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery logs, and freight documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep the vehicle in optimal condition

Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) suitable for long-haul routes
