Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Handyman to join our team and provide ongoing maintenance support at a commercial facility.

The primary responsibility will be patching, painting, and general touch-up work to maintain and improve the appearance of the facility. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, good workmanship, and the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be stationed at the assigned facility for a fixed schedule of approximately 4–6 hours per day/evening.

Duties

- Perform drywall patching, repairs, and surface preparation.
- Complete painting and touch-up work on walls, doors, trim, and other surfaces.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
- Identify areas requiring repair and complete work to a high standard.
- Perform minor carpentry and general handyman repairs as required.
- Use hand and power tools safely and appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas during repair and painting work.
- Communicate with the Facility Manager regarding completed work and additional repair requirements.
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a handyman, painter, maintenance technician,



or similar role.
- Strong experience with drywall patching, painting, and surface preparation.
- Good knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform minor carpentry and general building repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Previous experience working in commercial facilities is an asset.
- Valid driver's license is an asset but not required.

Schedule

- 4–6 hours per day/evening
- Fixed schedule at one commercial facility
- Ongoing position
- Schedule to be confirmed based on facility requirements
