Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and program CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines as well as using a manual lathe , to produce precision components. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in CNC programming, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The CNC Machinist will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficient manufacturing processes.

Duties

- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls.
- Develop and modify CNC programs utilizing CAD/CAM software like Mastercam and other CAD tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Select appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for machining tasks.
- Assist with assembly processes when required, ensuring parts meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols.




- Support lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed for part movement.

Requirements

- Proven experience with CNC programming, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC lathe and milling machines.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining processes, blueprint reading, and CAD/CAM software.
- Proficiency in Fanuc controls is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and perform basic math calculations for measurements.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, calipers, and other precision measurement devices.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
