Senior HVAC Technician - G2 (Hydronics)

Job Summary:
The Senior Technician will perform independently yet closely with our team on repair, install, troubleshoot and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems including boilers/hydronics. This role requires the individual to be available weekdays from 7:00am – 4:00pm for service calls from dispatch and/or prescheduled assignments.

Responsibilities:

- Installation, diagnosis/repair and maintenance of HVAC equipment including boilers and hydronic systems
- Communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the team/office
- Build and maintain positive relationship with customers
- Maintain service vehicle inventory and cleanliness
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Mentorship – provide leadership and training to assigned helper(s)
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Current and up-to-date Gas Fitter 2 (G2) license
- Refrigeration and air conditioning systems mechanic license (313D)
- Valid G license with a clean driver abstract
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak)
- A self-starter who is highly effective working independently and within a team
- Located in Durham Region/GTA
- 5+ years experience with HVAC equipment including heat pumps, boilers and hydronic systems and components
- Ability to operate well under tight deadlines
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, contractors, staff, etc.




- Ability to handle physical workload and working at heights using a ladder/mechanical lifting devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
- Proficient in using tools and equipment common to the trade
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and find effective solutions in a timely manner
- A keen attention to detail, positive attitude
- Punctual and dependable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
