Beautiful Spaces Renovations is looking for an experienced and dependable Skilled Labourer to join our residential renovation team in Edmonton.
This is a hands-on role for someone with residential construction or renovation experience who is comfortable taking on a wide variety of tasks.
You will work alongside our carpenters and site team on residential renovation projects and will be expected to work independently on appropriate tasks once direction has been provided.
Responsibilities
Your work will vary depending on the stage of each project and may include:
- Demolition and general construction work
- Assisting carpenters with framing, trim and other carpentry tasks
- Drywall repairs and patching
- Painting and touch-ups
- Light carpentry and finishing work
- Installing door hardware and other finishing items
- Material handling and site organization
- Picking up and transporting materials between suppliers and job sites
- Installing and maintaining site protection
- Daily job-site cleanup
- Maintaining clean, organized and professional work areas in occupied and unoccupied homes
- Assisting with other renovation-related tasks as required
Qualifications
- Has previous residential construction or renovation experience
- Is experienced using common construction hand and power tools
- Can follow instructions and complete assigned work independently
- Demonstrates practical problem-solving skills
- Produces accurate, quality work and pays attention to detail
- Is dependable and punctual
- Can safely perform the physical requirements of residential construction work, with accommodation where required by law
- Is comfortable working in occupied residential homes and interacting professionally with clients
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
