Askew’s Foods Pharmacy in Salmon Arm is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and processing
- Receive and enter prescription information accurately
- Manage prescription pick-up and cash transactions
- Maintain inventory levels, receive orders, and stock shelves
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy
- Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion




- Support the pharmacy team with daily administrative duties

Qualifications:

- Previous pharmacy assistant experience is an asset but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency with computers and data entry
- Knowledge of the KROLL Pharmacy computer system is a definite asset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Certification or diploma in pharmacy assistance or related field preferred
