Job Summary
The Burner prepares scrap metal using a cutting torch while following all company safety and environmental procedures. This role requires safe operation of torching equipment and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

- Inspect and prepare scrap metal to company standards.
- Cut scrap metal using a torch and related equipment.
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
- Identify and report equipment issues.
- Maintain a safe work environment and communicate operational concerns.

Qualifications

Required:

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to wear a respirator.
- Must be 18+ years old (U.S. applicants).

Preferred:

- Previous torching, cutting, or metal recycling experience.
- Ability and willingness to learn torching skills.
- Solid attendance and dependability.
