Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

- Safely transporting event supplies, decor, and equipment to and from venues
- Assisting with loading and unloading event items
- Ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicles
- Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicating effectively with the VintageBash team to coordinate delivery schedules

As an Events Delivery Driver, you’ll need:

Excellent Driving Skills

- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including vans and trucks.
- Knowledgeable about traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Comfortable driving in various weather conditions and traffic situations.

Strong Time Management

- Effective time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules and meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
- Proactive approach to planning routes and optimizing delivery efficiency.

Attention to Detail

- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and unloading of event supplies.
- Careful handling of fragile or delicate items to prevent damage during transport.
- Double-checking delivery orders against inventory lists to ensure accuracy.

Customer Service





- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide friendly and professional interactions with clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with clients during deliveries.

Navigation Skills

- Proficiency in using navigation apps or GPS devices to navigate through city streets and highways.
- Familiarity with the Greater Toronto Area to efficiently navigate to various event venues.

Physical Fitness

- Physical strength and stamina to handle lifting and moving heavy event supplies and equipment.
- Ability to safely load and unload items from delivery vehicles without risking injury.
- Endurance to withstand long hours of driving and physically demanding tasks.

Problem-Solving Abilities

- Resourcefulness to troubleshoot and resolve any delivery-related issues or challenges.
- Flexibility to adjust plans and adapt to unexpected changes or delays.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience in delivery or logistics is an advantage
