We are recruiting for a current opening for a Factory Cleaner on behalf of our client

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworkingFactory Cleaner to join our clients team in a steel manufacturing environment. This position plays an key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility while supporting daily production operations.

This position is ideal for someone with previous experience cleaning in a factory, manufacturing, or industrial environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable degreasing machinery and using industrial floor-cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain factory floors, work areas, and production spaces
- Degrease and clean industrial machinery and equipment
- Operate industrial floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other cleaning equipment
- Remove oil, grease, dirt, and debris from machinery and work areas
- Clean around production equipment and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Dispose of waste and cleaning materials properly
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Perform other general industrial cleaning duties as required

Requirements:

- Previous industrial or factory cleaning experience is required
- Experience degreasing machinery is required




- Experience operating industrial floor-cleaning equipment is required
- Comfortable working around machinery, oil, grease, and industrial environments
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
- CSA-approved safety footwear required

Schedule

Training will take place on the day shift for the first few weeks. Following training, the schedule may transition to afternoons, working Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM (shift change has not yet been confirmed).

Candidates must be available to work both day and afternoon shifts.
