- Experienced Real Estate Assistant
CUELENAERE LLP is seeking a full-time experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant to start immediately. We are looking for a talented team member who enjoys working with people and who is effective in a wide variety of functions. We are looking for an individual who is able to work as part of a team as well as independently, someone who is detail oriented, confident and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Administering residential sale, purchase, mortgage and refinance files, handling all tasks from initial file opening through to final reporting and file closing;
- Draft and complete legal real estate documents in Microsoft Word; including documents regarding mortgages, disbursements, titles, searches etc.
- Prepare contracts, sale and purchase documents
- Organize and maintain documents in a paper and electronic filing systems
- Complete accurate billing and invoicing
- Facilitate communications between lawyers for buyer and seller
- Communicate with mortgage brokers, banks, lawyers, clients
- Coordinate appointments, interacting with clients
- Drafting and editing emails, letters and legal documents
- Strive for efficient workflow
What you need
- Completion of a recognized legal assistant program or equivalent experience
- Experience in real estate including;
- Experience preparing documents for purchase, sale, mortgage and refinancing transactions
- Experience registering documents with ISC and working within the ISC platform
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Acumin accounting software is an asset (not a requirement, any experience with accounting software would be an asset)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, energetic, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Well organized and detail oriented with accuracy
