Job Opportunity: Panel Assembler/Electrician

We are currently looking for a Panel Builder/Electrician for our Chilliwack, BC location.

The Panel Builder/Electricians primary role will be to provide accurate and productive panel assembly and control wiring. This position will provide electrical controls installation services in house. Depending on the applicant, potentially troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and computerized equipment remotely and on site.

The position will be responsible for duties such as:

- Follow provided directions and guidance from the Lead Panel Builder and to assemble and test control wiring enclosures.
- Follow through with control enclosure assembly from start to finish including testing and verifying functionality and safety.
- Complete and submit work orders and all other required paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support by answering questions, providing information on maintenance of the product, explaining the work that has been done and providing solutions for recurring problems.
- Continuous learning to improve skills, training and working alongside other staff and technicians.





Skills Required:

- Grade 12 education or GED equivalent
- Must have 5+ years of electrical experience
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is an asset
- High level of electrical knowledge and understanding of safety protocols
- Electrical trade certification or apprenticeship is an asset
- Previous custom wiring and panel building experience is an asset
- Previous PLC programming and or wiring experience is an asset
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
- Strong understanding of agricultural equipment and processes
- Strong understanding of Variable Frequency drives (VFDs)
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills in dealing with customers, sub-contractors, and colleagues
- Independently motivated and a self-starter
