Job description
Medical Office Assistant required immediately for solo-practice general surgeon in North Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have specialist experience, be exceptionally organized, self-motivated, and enjoy being part-of a patient care team.
Important responsibilities include: scheduling patient appointments, liaising with Lion's Gate Hospital for OR / endoscopy bookings, communicating directly with patients, coordinating with referring medical offices, use of EMR (Plexia), managing flow during clinic days, and maintenance of office and hospital waitlists.
