Parts Manager Cariboo Ford Ltd

Cariboo Ford is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Parts Manager. We are looking for a positive and self-motivated person who enjoys dealing with a wide variety of people everyday. The most important requirement of the position is the ability to provide exceptional service to each and everyone of our customers and other departments within the dealership.

Job Purpose:

The Parts Manager is responsible for controlling the Parts Department, ensuring that annual financial targets are met and/or exceeded. It is crucial that this position controls and maintains the parts inventory.

Core Accountabilities:

- Ensure parts and accessories are appropriately stocked.
- Contribute to the Dealership’s profitability
- Train and motivate parts personnel
- Generate targeted gross profit




- Maintain an inventory level that meets the needs of the dealership’s internal/warranty/retail/wholesale customers.
- Maintain good working relationships with other departments, especially service.
- Create and implement sales, merchandising and promotions programs in order to meet targets.

Requirements

- Supervisory/Management experience an asset.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
