We are looking for an experienced installer to join our team. A qualified candidate will be expected to work as part of a team and independantly on service work and projects. This person will provide excellent customer service and must take pride in doing quality work.

- 5+ years of field service experience within electronic security systems, access control, or related technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Kantech, or Avigilon is an asset.
- Solid electrical and mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service requirements.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract is required.
- Electronics diploma, relevant trade experience, or industry certifications are considered assets.

Previous industry experience is required for this role, electrical knowledge is an asset as you will be working in the low voltage industry involving access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, IP networks, intercom, duress, and/or structured cabling, AMAG, Milestone, Alarm.com, networking, intrusion systems and integration.

The right candidate will have the following principal duties:

- Install and maintain security systems hardware and software (including running conduit and pulling cabling, programming and calibrating devices and controllers).
- Trouble shoot, identify and resolve problems and provide ongoing training and support for customers and fellow technicians.
- Responsible for ongoing system maintenance and alarm testing and verification.

Additional Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Effective Planning & Problem Solving: Understand project requirements and parameters and determine most cost-effective solutions to deliver.
- Accountability: Take personal ownership of the accuracy, reliability, and credibility of work and be self motivated
- Agility: Adjust and pivot to changes with ease.
- Communication: Use common vocabulary to transmit information with consistency and clarity.
- General carpentry
- Computer skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter and work well without direct supervision

Mandatory: Must have valid driver’s license, clean driver abstract and pass a security clearance.

Pay: $31.00-$43.00 per hour
