Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Spanish Speaking Home Support Worker to provide essential in-home assistance to individuals requiring personalized care. This role is vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for clients in their own homes. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will deliver culturally sensitive support, ensuring that every client feels valued, comfortable, and cared for. Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and instructions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and clean workplace
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics and equipment when necessary
- Document care activities, client progress, and any changes in health status clearly and promptly

Requirements





- Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with clients and their families
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices including medication administration and dementia care
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in hospice care is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate attitude towards senior care and vulnerable populations
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs while maintaining professionalism
