Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our agile restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals passionate about hospitality. The Server will play a key role in creating a memorable dining atmosphere through excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering functions
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during service
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout shifts




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering processes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing payments
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required
- Upselling techniques to recommend additional menu items effectively
- Guest services orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
