**We are hiring a Material Handler in Mississauga, Ontario!**

**Job Description**

Join a dynamic team at a custom manufacturer of industrial packaging, where we specialize in creating industrial-sized custom crates and corrugated boxing.

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory, driving forklifts, and ensuring accurate product handling.

This position requires a keen eye for detail as you will be responsible for picking precise quantities of materials and conducting various shipping and receiving tasks.

**Responsibilities**

+ Conduct inventory counts and manage paperwork accurately.
+ Operate a propane counterbalance forklift to stage and pick products.
+ Perform computer tasks, including creating bills of lading.
+ Load and unload various sized loads with precision.
+ Drive the forklift outdoors to retrieve stored products, ensuring safety and efficiency.
+ Assist with shoveling snow from shipping areas during extreme snowfall.
+ Support production with forklift operations and receive inventory accurately.
+ Book trucks and prepare paperwork for the following day.

**Essential Skills**

+ 2 years of experience with counterbalance propane forklifts.
+ Proficiency in shipping and receiving, including creating bills of lading.
+ Solid computer skills for managing shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience with inventory management.
+ Familiarity with material handling procedures.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
