**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description**
As a Record Center Specialist, you will engage in physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward throughout your shifts.

Your primary responsibility will be to move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh up to 50 lbs.

These tasks will be performed manually and with the aid of hand carts.

**Responsibilities**

+ Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
+ Engage in manual lifting, carrying, and moving/arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
+ Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis without assistance.
+ Safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
+ Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders and labels.
+ Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
+ Operate a handheld scanner.
+ Balance on ladders and load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
+ Load boxes onto pallets and trucks manually and with material handling aids.

**Essential Skills**

+ Ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
+ Capability to work independently in lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying boxes.
+ Proficiency in reading and writing English.
+ Experience in using a proprietary computer system for tracking orders.
+ Skill in operating hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.

**Work Environment**
The position requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.

You will work five days a week, nine hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

The work environment includes standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting on uneven and concrete surfaces.





**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Burnaby, BC.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Burnaby,BC.
