Railway City Brewing Co . home of Dead Elephant Ale, Crew Premium Lager, Whistle Stop Hazy Pale Ale, Boxcar Juicy IPA, First Class IPA, Iron Spike Red Ale and many other creative and interesting craft beers. We are celebrating our 17th year in business and we are looking for Retail, Events and Taproom staff to join our Team. We are hiring Part Time positions with flexible schedules.

Company Overview:

Based in St. Thomas, Ontario Railway City Brewing is a multi-award winning, Ontario Craft Brewery that is experiencing substantial year after year growth in supplying both the retail market through the LCBO, Beer Store, Grocery channels, as well as Commercial/on-premise customers throughout Ontario.

Recent taproom and patio expansion requires more staff. Join our team as we continue to grow. We are also planning many events including concerts, trivia nights, beer festivals, and more.

Job responsibilities include:

- Consistently delivering a ‘best in class’ customer experience
- Engaging and educating customers on our brand, beers, and upcoming events
- Fostering a positive environment for both guests and staff within the brewery
- Selling responsibilities include tap room and retail store sales (specifically – serving tables and selling cans, cases and merchandise)
- Properly serving pints and sample flights




- Maintaining a clean and welcoming tap room and retail space
- Providing additional support around the brewery where needed
- Working occasional events taking place at the brewery and at off-site events
- Facilitating Brewery Tours and Tastings

Job requirements:

- A self-starter with a excellent work ethic and a willingness to grow
- 1+ years retail or serving experience
- Passionate about Ontario Craft beer, with an eagerness to learn
- Open availability, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Kitchen/cooking experience is an asset
- Valid smart serve, or will secure upon hiring
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Appreciation for beer is a MUST
