They are a champion of project delivery and governance across the organization.RoleWork closely with your manager, project sponsors, and delivery partners (internal and external) to implement a variety of projects, on-time, on-budget, and to quality standardsServe as the primary escalation point for any project management queriesOrganize and facilitate collaborative discussions with key partners as requiredDevelop relationships with your key partners and support them through any challenges during the full project management life cycleProactively identify and manage project risks and issuesWork proactively with delivery partner leads tohelp them manage resource allocation in order to ensure sufficient capacity to achieve project milestonesActively contribute to portfolio planning to help identify and prioritize corporate projectsAssist when required with the development of comprehensive business requirements and assist in project scoping with key partnersWhile working in collaboration with key partners, ensure there is a mitigation plan in place for all enterprise risk factorsEnsure all key partners are in compliance with applicable regulations,



legislation and FirstOntario policies and proceduresDeliver end-to-end project support to internal and external stakeholders through the full project management lifecycle with timely and clear communication throughoutMeticulously maintain up-to-date status reports, financial records, RAID logs, change orders and any other required artifacts, and present as requested to your manager, Steering Committee and other governance bodiesThoroughly conduct project post-implementation reviews and create recommendations in order to identify successful elements and share learning opportunities with stakeholders at all levels to inspire continuous improvement of project management processes and standardsWith your team, select, develop, implement and manage Project Management methodologies (policies, system monitors and controls etc.) that fit the requirements and culture of FirstOntario and help meet FirstOntario's strategic goalsSupport and provide counsel to stakeholders to assist in achieving successful project outcomesCollaborate with your peers and stakeholders to add to the collective innovative thinking that can drive new business ideas for FirstOntarioBe a change leader as FirstOntario continues to adapt to new and exciting ways of delivering business servicesPerform other duties as requiredRequired SkillsHave a minimum of two (2)



years of hands-on Project Management experience Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related fieldFinancial industry experience is an assetHave the Project Management Professional certificationBe adept at applying formal project management practices and other mandated procedure, with the ability to adapt to extraordinary scenarios by using flexibility and creativityBe highly proficient using MS Project, Service Now, SharePoint, and PowerPoint; advanced Excel skills an assetBe equally comfortable working independently with a high degree of autonomy and within the constructs of a structured team environmentStay current with the latest trends and developments in Project Management tools and practicesBe detail-oriented, analytical, and pragmatic; use good judgment and have an incredible passion for ensuring the accuracy in all of your workHave a genuine customer-service bias (e.g., be quick to respond to client requests; adapt to changing priorities)Demonstrate thought leadership; actively learn and openly share your knowledge with the teamMaintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and be trustworthyStrong written and verbal communication and presentation skillsBe open to flexible work hours including evening and weekends as the job demands and travel as requiredThis posting is for an existing vacancy.Salary Range: $81,110 to $111,527 annually.Compensation for this role reflects a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Those whose experience more closely aligns the role's requirements may be placed higher within the salary range.
