We're currently looking for an energetic and reliable warehouse sorter on behalf of a transportation client of ours. Within this role, you will be crucial to the accurate distribution of goods to be delivered within the Ottawa and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Sorting through incoming and outgoing freight
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Working closely with Forklift Operators and Dock hands
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Keeping work area clean
- Reading bills/manifests to ensure load is correct
- Additional duties as requested or required
Requirements:
- Must have reliable means of transportation (No buses)
- Steel-toed boots are required for safety
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs
- Preferably 6 months of verifiable relatable experience
- Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process
