Job Overview:

Advantage Personnel is currently seeking experienced and dependable Construction Labourers to support a variety of commercial and residential construction projects throughout the HRM. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in active environments, and take pride in contributing to successful project completion.

Responsibilities:

- Load, unload, lift, and move construction materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with site preparation, setup, and general construction activities
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and maintain a safe work setting
- Safely use hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, shovels, wrenches, and other common construction equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople by preparing materials, setting up equipment, and assisting with daily tasks




- Follow all site safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Complete assigned duties independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including changing weather conditions
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, climbing, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Assist with additional site duties as required

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of construction, general labour, or physically demanding work experience
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment
- Understanding of job-site safety practices and procedures
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety
- Comfortable working in fast-paced construction environments with exposure to weather, dust, noise, and heavy equipment
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and job-site conditions
