We're Active Mortgage Inc., and we help people navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives — buying a home. We take that seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We're looking for an Administrative Assistant who thrives on structure, likes making chaos look effortless, and genuinely enjoys being the person everyone can count on.

What you'll actually be doing:

You'll be the first friendly voice clients hear and the first friendly face they see when they walk in. You'll keep our office humming — phones answered, mail sorted, files organized (digital and paper), appointments booked, and documents formatted so they actually look good.

You'll support our mortgage advisors with client paperwork and follow-up, keep our systems up to date, restock the coffee and the printer paper, and jump into the occasional reporting project just to keep things interesting.

You'll be a great fit if you:

Have solid administrative or clerical chops — scheduling, filing, data entry, all of it.



You've got great phone manner and can explain things clearly without sounding like a robot. Maybe you've supported an executive before, juggled a busy calendar, or handled sensitive documents with discretion.

You're comfortable in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and you're not intimidated by learning a new CRM or mortgage system. You notice the typo everyone else missed. You can keep five things moving at once without dropping any of them. And you actually like people — clients, coworkers, all of it.

Bonus points if you've worked in financial services or real estate before, or if you've got some post-secondary training in business admin. Not required, though — we care more about how you work than what's on paper.

Full time, on-site in Bedford, NS. You'll be part of a close-knit team that actually collaborates (not just says it does), values integrity over shortcuts, and puts clients first — every time.
