We’re looking for a reliable, warm and organized nanny to provide before- and after-school care for our children in the Cedarbrae/Woodbine/Somerset area.

This is a shared childcare arrangement between two co-parenting households, with a predictable alternating-week schedule. The children attend St. Jude School and Somerset School.

**Every school day**

7:00–9:00 a.m. – morning care and school drop-offs

2:30–5:00 p.m. – school pickups, snack and after-school care

**Every other Friday**

Afternoon shift begins at 12:30 p.m. instead of 2:30 p.m. due to an early school dismissal.

Hours

Approx. 22.5–24.5 guaranteed hours per week.

Additional 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours on school non-instructional/PD days when care is required

Alternating weeks

Week A

Care and transportation for **three children**, including drop-offs/pickups at both St. Jude School and Somerset. School.

Week B

Care and transportation for **two children** between St. Jude and their other parent’s nearby home.

Both homes are approximately 10 minutes from school.

Responsibilities

- Morning supervision and helping children get ready for school
- School drop-offs and pickups
- Driving between the children’s schools and homes




- Preparing easy after-school snacks
- Providing calm, engaged supervision until parents return home
- Full-day care on agreed-upon non-instructional days

We are especially looking for someone who has **experience supporting autistic children** and understands the value of predictability, patience, clear expectations and helping children regulate after a busy school day. Experience with neurodivergent children is a strong asset.

A valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and ability to safely transport three children are required.

We’re hoping to find someone kind, dependable and genuinely comfortable becoming a familiar, consistent person in the kids’ weekly routine. More than anything, we want someone who enjoys kids, can bring a calm and positive presence to the start and end of their school days, and feels like a good fit for our family.
