NDC Construction is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator/ Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will operate various types of heavy machinery to support construction, excavation, and site development projects while maintaining high safety and productivity standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist with construction and labor tasks as needed, Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, telehandlers, backhoes, graders, and skid steers, ETC. Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Work closely with supervisors and other crew members to complete projects efficiently. Identify and report equipment issues or safety hazards. Maintain a clean and organized worksite. Qualifications:



Previous experience operating heavy equipment in the construction industry, carpentry and building construction related experience. Valid driver’s license (minimum class 5). Knowledge of equipment safety practices and site procedures. Ability to read basic plans and follow instructions. Must be willing to work out of town (Northern Manitoba). Robust teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Heavy equipment operator certification or training. First Aid or safety training. Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
