2 Temporary Positions Available from December 2026 to December 2028 Job Duties and Responsibilities General farm labourers will perform the following duties in accordance with operational needs and varying seasonal production levels: • Planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops • Pruning, tying, and maintaining plants • Plant Maintenance – clipping, suckering, lowering, deleafing, crops • Winding, pruning, harvesting, crops • Ability to distinguish between colours • Sorting and grading produce based on size, shape, colour, and volume • Packing and stacking produce • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, tools, and equipment • Assisting with greenhouse and equipment maintenance • Monitoring crop conditions, detecting disease and reporting issues to supervisors • Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times • Performing other general farm duties as assigned Skills Requirements Education: • No degree,



certificate, or diploma required Work Experience: • Will train. Minimal experience required; farm or greenhouse experience is an asset Additional Skills & Work Conditions: • Ability to perform physically demanding work • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to details • Ability to stand, bend, and lifting (30 lbs max.) for extended periods • Ability to work in warm, humid, & cold/refrigerated temperatures • Ability to distinguish between colours • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team • Willingness to follow instructions and safety protocols Must be within the local area and have own transportation - no municipal busing available to work site.
