Job Summary
We are a growing nutraceutical manufacturing company headquartered in Richmond, BC. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through effective quality assurance and control processes. This position requires a strong background in quality management, inspection, and analysis, as well as the ability to collaborate with various departments and vendors to enhance product quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

- Inspect and release raw materials, in-process, and finished products for compliance
- Oversee QA/QC systems in line with GMP requirements for Food and natural health products
- Manage NPN applications and submissions to Health Canada
- Ensure GMP compliance across all manufacturing activities
- Lead and develop the QA/QC team and assistants
- Maintain regulatory compliance with Health Canada requirements
- Investigate deviations, complaints, and quality issues
- Review and approve SOPs, COAs, and quality documents
- Collaborate with Production, R&D;,



and Supply Chain on quality matters
- Support internal and external audits and inspections

Education/Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nutrition Science, Biochemistry, Physiology, or a relevant science degree.
- Over 5 years of proven experience in quality assurance, inspection, or management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with botanical herbs and bacterial fermentation is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00-$84,000.00 per year
