Vitality Health Management is seeking an experienced and professional RPN with IV therapy experience to join our clinical team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities

* Perform IV insertion and venipuncture

* Administer IV therapy according to authorized medical orders and clinic protocols

* Complete patient intake and review relevant health information prior to treatment

* Monitor patients throughout IV treatments

* Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions

* Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation

* Prepare treatment rooms and IV supplies

* Follow infection prevention, medication safety and clinic policies

* Communicate with physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare providers as required

* Support inventory and IV supply management

Requirements





* Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

* Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

* Minimum 2 years of practical IV insertion / IV therapy experience preferred

* Strong venipuncture and IV insertion skills

* Current CPR/BLS certification

* Strong patient communication and documentation skills

* Able to work independently in an outpatient clinic environment

* Qualified, reliable and detail-oriented

Schedule

Part-time with flexible weekday and/or weekend availability depending on clinic appointments.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
