Job Overview
The Hampton Inn by Hilton London is seeking a temporary Laundry Attendant for a monthly contract up to a maximum of 7 months.

There may be a possibility to join us permanently in a different department (House Cleaner, Room Attendant) however is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

- Loading the washing machines, dryers and folding laundry in a timely manner
- Pushing and pulling carts to transport dirty and clean linen
- This job required a lot of arm strength!
- Cleaning staff washroom
- Refilling chemical bottles for housekeeping to use
- Assist coworkers as instructed in various assignments such as cleaning, stocking supplies, making beds in guest rooms, cleaning public washrooms etc.
- Maintain a clean and attractive uniform and person.
- Cleaning the Laundry room and staff room by wiping down machines etc.
- All items in the stain bin in the laundry must go into the washer. Do not leave any stained linen overnight.
- Training recent hires.
- Lint traps cleaned every day.
- Use the sign for Stained Loads on the washer and dryer. This will ensure we know which load is stained so if the stains don’t come out,



we don’t keep re-washing the items.
- Be sure to date all received inventory to ensure we are rotating inventory according to hotel guidelines.
- Cleaning out the staff fridge, and washing dishes.
- Picking up garbage inside and outside of the hotel.
- Stripping beds of linen and throwing it down the chute
- Occasional gardening, cleaning dumpster area, sweeping parking lot, picking up garbage etc.
- Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager/Ownership of the hotel.

Schedule start times (End Times will vary based on occupancy). This is the main schedule however can change at any time as we are a hotel that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and we need to adjust based on our occupancy.

- Monday 830 start
- Tuesday OFF
- Wednesday 830am start
- Thursday 830am start
- Friday 830am start
- Saturday OFF
- Sunday 10am start

28-38 Hours throughout a 5 day work week
