About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Drywall Finisher & Plasterer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience with drywall installation and finishing, plastering, patching, and surface preparation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry. Red Seal certification training and support may be available to qualified employees.

Key Responsibilities

· Apply and finish drywall compound, joint tape, and corner beads.

· Perform taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces.

· Repair cracks, holes, dents, and damaged drywall.

· Apply plaster and other finishing materials.

· Prepare walls and ceilings for painting and other finishes.

· Read and interpret basic construction plans and specifications.

· Maintain quality standards and complete work efficiently.

· Keep work areas clean, organized, and protected.

· Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

· Work independently and as part of a construction team.

Qualifications

· Previous experience as a drywall finisher, plasterer, or in a related construction trade is preferred.

· Knowledge of drywall finishing, plastering, taping, and surface preparation.





· Ability to use drywall and finishing tools safely and effectively.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

· Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.

· Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

· Valid driver's licence is an asset.

· Apprentices or candidates interested in pursuing Red Seal certification are encouraged to apply.
