Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this dynamic role.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using basic math skills
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts




- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to serve customers courteously and professionally at all times
